How do I find my client's IP address?

Talkspace allows practitioners to view client's login information in an emergency situation where there is a need to provide this information to authorities due to risk of client harm to self and/or harm to others.

The IP information does not replace the need to collect demographic information from clients. A full name, physical address, and telephone number for the client and a full name and telephone number for a designated emergency contact should always be obtained at the onset of the therapeutic relationship.

To locate your client's IP address information in an emergency, please follow these steps:

  1. In the client's room, click on the Case tab, open the Actions section, and click Emergency contact login

  1. Click View client login information

  1. You will then see a record of the client’s logins with their IP address
