The Stanley-Brown Safety Plan is a personalized, collaborative tool designed to help individuals at risk navigate moments of crisis. It outlines coping strategies, support contacts, and available resources, serving as a guide when the individual is struggling. As a living document, the plan evolves over time, allowing you and your client to identify triggers, resources, and next steps—especially in case of provider unavailability.
