This Learning Community is intended to be a supplement to the Clinical Crisis training you receive during your initial training at Talkspace. During this Learning Community, we will review the foundational components of Talkspace’s clinical crisis system and walk you through the S.A.F.E. workflow. We will review resources that are available for providers to help assess clinical crisis risk, how to report an adverse incident, and a few case examples. Attendees will receive a handout/quick reference guide with quick links to the resources discussed during the Learning Community.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe and explain the Clinical Risk Management S.A.F.E. Process
- Evaluate and understand Talkspace provider expectations in using the ATC model of approaching clinical crisis situations in an effort to keep clients safe.
- Understand required Talkspace clinical risk management policies, protocols and procedures
- Able to assess client risk-levels using the C-SSRS suicidality, HCR-20 Adult Violence/homicidality, and the SAVRY Teen Violence/homicidality Assessments on the Talkspace platform
- Learn the use and application of the Stanley-Brown Safety Plan Safety Plan on the Talkspace platform to keep at-risk clients safe.
